Rental agreement & safety rules
The customer must read and electronically sign these terms before Angie’s Softplay can set up equipment.
1. Booking, payment & deposit
A $100 refundable security deposit holds the event date and selected equipment. The remaining balance and any travel or setup charges must be paid before setup begins. The deposit is returned after pickup when equipment is clean, complete, and undamaged. Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the event make the deposit non-refundable.
2. Ages & supervision
Soft play is intended for children ages 0–5 only. A responsible adult must supervise the equipment and children at all times. Angie’s Softplay does not provide an on-site attendant unless separately agreed in writing.
3. Play-area rules
- Socks are required; no shoes, jewelry, sharp objects, food, drinks, candy, gum, pets, or outside toys.
- No slime, confetti, party poppers, streamers, silly string, face paint, markers, or paint near the equipment.
- Do not climb, hang, or sit on safety gates. Equipment and fencing may not be moved after setup.
- Return all balls to the ball pit before pickup. A $25 cleanup fee may apply when balls are left scattered.
4. Equipment care & damage
The customer is responsible for reasonable care from setup through pickup. Damage, missing pieces, excessive cleaning, stains, shoe marks, or prohibited products may be deducted from the deposit. Replacement costs may apply when equipment cannot be repaired.
5. Site, weather & access
The customer must provide a clean, level, safe setup area and disclose stairs, gates, restricted access, sprinklers, mud, utilities, or other hazards. Angie’s Softplay may delay, relocate, or decline setup when conditions are unsafe. Outdoor equipment must remain dry and may not be used during rain or high wind.
6. Assumption of risk
The customer and property owner acknowledge that active play carries risk of falls, collisions, and injury. They accept responsibility for supervision and proper use of the equipment and agree to release and indemnify Angie’s Softplay from claims arising from misuse, lack of supervision, rule violations, unsafe conditions, or guest conduct, except where prohibited by law.
7. Photos
Photos or video are used for marketing only when permission has been given. Notify Angie’s Softplay in writing before the event if event images may not be used.
8. Electronic acceptance
Typing a full legal name and checking the agreement boxes during booking constitutes an electronic signature and acceptance of this agreement, the $100 deposit policy, and the 14-day cancellation policy.
